This is a Permanent, Full Time vacancy that will close in {x} days at {xx:xx} BST.

Forming part of the production team, the primary purpose of this role is to carry out the movement of materials safely, efficiently and without damage 

 

You will be responsible for; 

  • Handling and moving materials, incoming and finished goods   

  • Stock management of all material held  

  • Providing verbal and written communication when necessary  

  • Comprehensive recording of all necessary information  

  • Providing assistance with maintenance activities on plant and machinery.  

  • Packing materials as required  

  • Preparation of sample sheets and maintenance of sample stock  

  • Training new operatives as required  

 

This is a C Grade 3 shift role working 12 hour shifts over a rolling pattern which will be discussed in more depth after application  

 

What will make you successful? 

  • Practical expertise in warehouse operations including a Counterbalance Fork Lift Truck Licence and ideally a full driving licence 

  • Knowledge of stock systems and  stocktaking procedures 

  • Knowledge of quality procedures 

  • Safety, and environment knowledge and skills such as Fork Lift Truck safety, safe vehicle loading, COSHH, movement and storage of dangerous goods and waste/broke management. 

  • Goods inwards and finished goods procedures and documentation
